Your Questions, Answered

When is the best time to visit Greece?

The ideal time depends on your preferences. May-June and September-October offer perfect weather and fewer crowds. July-August brings peak season with higher prices but guaranteed sunshine. Winter visitors can even ski in northern Greece!

Greece can accommodate various budgets. While places like Santorini and Mykonos can be pricey, mainland destinations and lesser-known islands offer excellent value. Average daily costs range from €50-200 depending on your travel style.

While public transport is reliable in most areas, a car offers flexibility, especially on the mainland. Islands are usually navigable by local buses or scooters. Remember: International Driving Permit is required!

Yes, especially in tourist areas. However, learning a few Greek phrases will earn you smiles and maybe even some free dessert!

I’d recommend at least 10 days to cover the main highlights. Two weeks would be ideal, allowing time to explore both mainland and islands without rushing.
